Its slim profile suits narrow uPVC and aluminium frames where a bulky sensor will not sit neatly. The contact triggers when the gap between the sensor and the magnet grows beyond 52mm, and front and rear tamper switches report any attempt to open or remove it. Enrolling is quick through the Hik-Connect app using power-up, remote ID or a QR code, and detection settings are managed remotely.
