§ 01Overview

What the DS-PM1-O1L-WB is

The Hikvision DS-PM1-O1L-WB is a wireless relay output module for the AX PRO alarm range. It gives your system a switched output it can control remotely, so an alarm event, a schedule, a system fault or a manual press in the Hik-Connect app can close or open a relay - useful for triggering a gate or roller door, switching a light or relay-driven device, or driving an external indicator.

The module provides one relay output wired as normally-open or normally-closed, rated for 0 to 36 VDC at up to 5 A, so it switches low-voltage loads and trigger inputs. It talks to the AX PRO hub on 433 MHz two-way wireless secured with AES-128 encryption, at a range of up to 800 metres in open space, and it also has a tamper input. Three LEDs show registration and signal, power, and the relay state so you can see at a glance what it is doing.

It runs on a flexible DC 7 to 24 V supply, mounts on a wall, and is small at 38 x 25 x 18 mm and 28.5 g. Note that the relay is a low-voltage dry-contact output: to switch 230 V mains it must drive a suitably rated contactor or relay, not the mains load directly. It is genuine Australian Hikvision stock with local warranty and support.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-PM1-O1L-WB

Automate without new cabling

A wireless relay lets the alarm switch a gate, light or device where running a wired output back to the panel would be hard, so you add control quickly.

Trigger it your way

Operate the relay by alarm event, schedule, fault or manually from the app, so it fits automation as well as alarm-linked tasks.

Flexible to install

A wide 7-24 V DC input and a compact wall-mount body make it easy to power and place near the device you want to switch.

Secure and visible

AES-128 two-way wireless keeps the link protected, and three status LEDs make registration, power and relay state easy to check during setup.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Gate or roller door

Drive a gate or door controller's trigger input so the alarm or app can open or close it.

Alarm-linked lighting

Switch a light or relay-driven device on when the alarm trips to add a visible response, using a contactor for mains lighting.

Scheduled switching

Turn a device on and off on a schedule set in the app, such as an indicator or low-voltage circuit.

External indicator or interface

Provide a dry contact to signal another system that an alarm or fault has occurred.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What's in the box

One DS-PM1-O1L-WB wireless relay module with mounting hardware. A DC 7-24 V supply, any contactor needed for mains loads, and a compatible AX PRO alarm system are required and not included.

02

Installation requirements

Mount the module on a wall near the device you want to switch, connect a DC 7-24 V supply, and wire the NO/NC relay to the low-voltage load or trigger input - use a suitably rated contactor for any 230 V mains device. Enrol it to your AX PRO panel through the app or panel menu, set the trigger conditions (alarm, schedule, fault or manual), and test the relay operation. Keep it within reliable wireless range of the panel or add a repeater on a large site.

§ 08Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-PM1-O1L-WB

Q.01

What does the DS-PM1-O1L-WB do?

It is a wireless relay output for the AX PRO system. The alarm can switch its relay open or closed in response to an alarm, a schedule, a fault, or a manual command in the Hik-Connect app, letting you control a device such as a gate, light or indicator as part of your security setup.
Q.02

What can the relay switch?

The relay is rated for 0 to 36 VDC at up to 5 amps and provides a normally-open or normally-closed contact. It is designed to switch low-voltage loads and trigger inputs. To control a 230 V mains device, wire the relay to a suitably rated contactor rather than connecting the mains load directly to the module.
Q.03

How is it triggered?

You can set it to operate on an alarm event, on a schedule, on a specific system fault, or manually from the app. This lets it do things like flash a light when the alarm trips, open a gate at set times, or switch a device on demand.
Q.04

Which systems is it compatible with?

It works with Hikvision AX PRO wireless alarm systems, such as the DS-PWA96-M-WB control panel and the DS-PWA96-Kit. It enrols to the AX PRO hub like other wireless devices and is not a standalone product.
Q.05

How is it powered?

It runs on a DC supply between 7 and 24 volts, which gives flexibility to use an existing low-voltage source on site. It is not battery powered, so provide it with a suitable DC supply at the mounting location.
Q.06

What is the wireless range?

It communicates with the hub on 433 MHz two-way wireless at up to 800 metres in open space. Walls and floors reduce that in a real building, so for a large or difficult site add a DS-PR1-WB repeater to keep the link reliable.
Q.07

Is the wireless link secure?

Yes. It uses 433 MHz two-way communication with AES-128 encryption, and the two-way link means the panel confirms commands and the module reports its status back, including a tamper alarm if the unit is interfered with.
