What the DS-PT-M1 is

The Hikvision DS-PT-M1 is a Mifare contactless tag that arms and disarms a Hikvision AX PRO alarm system with a simple tap, rather than typing a code or opening the app. It is the convenient way to give family members, cleaners, trades or staff a quick arm/disarm point: present the tag to the control panel's built-in reader or to an AX PRO keypad and the system changes state.

It uses standard 13.56 MHz Mifare technology with a 1024 × 8 bit EEPROM across 16 sectors and roughly ten years of data retention, in a hard-wearing PVC/ABS body measuring 41 × 32 × 3.5 mm. An AX PRO panel supports up to 48 tags, so you can issue one to each person and remove a lost tag from the system without affecting the others.

This is a genuine Hikvision AX PRO accessory; it is sold individually and is supplied in white or black. It does not work as a standalone device — it is used with a Hikvision AX PRO panel or keypad that has a Mifare tag reader.
